Nobody can challenge Dick Cheney’s credentials when it comes to the issue of America’s energy policy. As the former chairman of the National Energy Policy Development Group, Dick Cheney wrote the rules for how our government produces and develops energy.

Dick Cheney knows that most of the world’s oil is under the feet of those who want to trample on America. Why would the United States give them money when we can hand it to hard working, trustworthy Americans in our oil and gas industries? That’s just common sense that empowers and enriches our private sector while addressing America’s energy needs for the future. America needs Dick Cheney’s sound energy policies:

• Those who spend the most money lobbying deserve to
  inherit government contracts and incentives. For example
  the nuclear industry, which spent some $71,405,955
  lobbying Capitol Hill in 2003, received $7.37 billion in tax
  breaks and projects.
• Dick Cheney believes that oil under the ground, trumps any
  wildlife above ground. If there is oil, you can be sure that
  America will harness it, polar bears or not.
• When our natural resources are in decline, America will
  invade nations that are rich in oil.
• America will no longer give tax breaks for fuel-efficient
  vehicles whose lack of gas consumption is hurting the
  private sector.
• Oil company executives will be granted amnesty for any
  testimony they give under oath.
• No bids will be given to companies unless Dick Cheney is a
  reference on their resume.
• Deregulation of the entire energy industry will increase. As
  our financial markets have shown, conglomerates do not
  need government oversight.
